We booked the restaurant very last minute, for a family Easter Day lunch, including 2 young children and a teenager, as there were six of us staying nearby for the Easter break (from Leeds). We found the White Lodge Restaurant via a Google Search for 'Good restaurants for Easter Day in Filey'. We got a very prompt response when emailing to book, and this was all done very easily. Upon arrival, we were immediately made to feel welcome by the lovely bright Receptionist, and were led through to the lounge, to seats next to the fire, to sit for a while and look at the menu. We had a fabulous choice on the menu, considering we have one pescetarian in the group, and two vegetarians, and after making our choices and being brought our drinks, we were led through to a fabulous table overlooking the sea. The fresh bread that was brought to the table was delicious, and was shortly followed by our mains. The food was incredible, so tasty and fresh, with a lot of it. I personally had the beef roast dinner, which was divine, and we had plenty of fresh vegetables to share around. We followed with an amazing selection of desserts between us, all delicious. The service was impeccable, and the food was extremely good. We ended the meal by moving back to the lounge for our coffees, and one of the lovely waitresses brought over a basket of Easter eggs, and Lindt bunnies for us to choose from, which was a fantastic touch. The staff are all super friendly, efficient and professional, always smiling and very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend the White Lodge Restaurant, and would definitely go back. It was excellent value for money also.
