After an extremely long journey I was pleased to arrive at this welcoming hotel. All staff I met were polite and friendly. I had a very tasty homemade dinner, which was served quickly. My room was large and clean. On a very cold night , the room was very warm. My breakfast was splendid and it was all very good value for money. I'm looking forward to returning!

One night stay...great welcome when checking in staff made effort to make all welcome. Excellent food with actual vegetables!!!! Room good size and Wi-fi coverage good. Location would be good in summer as there are a number of interesting places to get to from the pub by the looks of it..raining so not today

ate here today, the meat was so tough, veg was hard, no condiments on table, veg arrived on table 10 mins after our main. So very disappointed. Couldnt cut the steak, and the beef was chewy, definitely do not recommend eating here
