We have stayed here twice. Once two years ago and once again this August. We enjoyed our stay in the upstairs family room the so much the first time that our children asked us if we could stay here again. The beds are comfortable, the room has great views and the kids (7 and 10) loved their stay this time just as much as previously. The friendliness of everyone there was brilliant considering the year we have all just had. At breakfast our kids (being a little tired from a very exhausting beach day the day before) were a little more fussy. The staff listened to them and went out their way to make it more enjoyable and ensure they had enough to eat and drink, one member of staff even making an effort to remember their names - a lovely touch. The breakfast room is welcoming and airy and the outside dining area has a very appealing pond that held the kids' attention while we waited a short time for our food. The room itself has all the usual things you would expect and the independent feel shines through. My partner and I would stay here again, and I don't think we would hear any complaints from our children!

My friend and I have stayed at The Evening Tied Twice. Nick who runs it has a very friendly manor and is very accommodating, especially while COVID lock down was in place as we couldn’t go the beginning of the year and he let us change dates twice. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Tge place is spotless and rooms very comfortable.
The breakfast is the best I have had and served piping hot.
Thank you so much will be back soon

Booked direct. Had great communication with Nick from when I booked and on the day of arrival. Arranged parking for us took order for breakfast before we arrived so it was ready for the time we booked it for the next morning.
Great location on the sea front. Very spacious room, great en suite shower.
Totally recommend a stay here. It’s a yearly think for us and we will definitely be back next year but we will stay 2 nights.
Thankyou for a very comfy nights sleep and the best breakfast.

We stayed here Thursday night and we booked 2 rooms.
The family room had everything you need, water, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, hair dryer, iron, fan and heater.
The rooms were cleaned to a high speck and the breakfast was cooked to perfection.
The hosts responded quick to our reservation and they arranged our parking and was very attentive.
The pebbled beach and pier are directly opposite.
We ate out at the Turkish restaurant a couple of hundred yards up the roads-it was lush.
We will definitely visit again.
Thankyou

I stayed here with my family and Dad. A very warm welcome by Nick.and Lou. We had a lovely stay. My kids loved it. The rooms were good, all that we needed and if we needed anything doing/replaced in the room, just had to ask. Breakfasts were fresh and tasty and lots of choice. Pancakes were a nice surprise and the homemade banana bread was very much welcomed. It is centrally located and easy walk to beach, shops, train station. If back in Herne Bay, we will stay here. Thank you.
