“Worth the walk”

This pub is a little bit out of the centre of Manchester but it is still worth the walk. Salford has a lot to offer and this place is a great example of that.

It is about 10 minutes from spinning fields so not far at all. Once there, you are greeted with a traditional pub with an amazing array of beers both bottled and draft.

There is a sitting out area outside but the pub itself is cosy and friendly. You get some real characters in there and it is definitely worth a visit.

After a fabulous brunch next door at the Deli Lama, we were set up for a few pints and some 6 Nations on the telly! Friendly welcome, and lots of different ales to choose from. The Fernandos 2 brewers was excellent, and the No Brainer cider was very easy drinking too, would highly recommend this pub for serious ale drinkers as it looks like they change beers regularly as indicated on the chalkboards, much like the British Lion in Devizes

i last went in this pub about 15 years ago,we decided to visit again loving real ale this place is a real gem, there can be up to 16 real ales on at any one time in this cosy pub,
friendly staff and locals too make this place well worth a visit, they do serve food but only on weekdays, this was a shame for us as we wanted to sample the food, but maybe next time,i would not hessitate to visit this pub again, public transport is very good around the pub with various buses and trains going either past or near the end of bexley square.

Astonishing for Salford, this bar has a remarkable European range of beers both on draft and in bottle. Majoring on Belgian & German beers, the bar also has an excellent selection of local breweries on tap. The locals are friendly too :)

A great range of British and European beers and real ales. A real 'local' pub but strangers are made welcome. Very good juke box and good coffee. Outside seating in Bexley Square is available. Food is also served.
