This is not your everyday Italian restaurant. That becomes apparent as soon as you go in and the menu is different than elsewhere. Certainly, they do pizzas and pasta but the food is completely different. All the staff appear to be Italian and know their food a great deal.
My partner had a pizza which was thin crust and absolutely delicious. The winner though was the squid ink pasta with seafood which was one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. The seafood was so fresh and the whole thing beautifully cooked and tasty.
The wine list is excellent as well as it is moderately priced but has some high-quality reds on it. A 10 minute walk out of spinning fields but without doubt worth a visit. Make sure you book in advance as it gets very busy. No wonder!
