One of our guests arrived early and said we had a reservation for Tipsy tea. She was told the table wasn’t ready as it was booked for 2.30. I really don’t know what they had to get ready because it was a case of pick where you sit!

The food came out on what can only be described as trays covered in tin foil! It looked ridiculous, nothing like an afternoon tea should look. Selection of open sandwiches: were in fact a slice of French stick with minimal topping and no butter, extremely dry and frankly were possibly made that morning and left on the side until we got there. Totally tasteless and frankly inedible. No plates, no cutlery, No jam for the scones, we had to ask.

One of the guests decided to order some drinks and pay the bill at the same time, it was only as we were leaving she mentioned how much she had paid...... £25 over payment! So back in again to sort out the bill and get refunded. Had she not of mentioned this She would never have known she’d overpaid!

This was booked for a friends birthday, I was actually embarrassed. We would have been better off ordering food from main menu (at least would have been a little “fresher”)or going elsewhere for afternoon tea. I really wish we had got photos to show people just how bad it was.

I realise that the cocktails included with the offer more than make up for the price paid but what you advertise sounds great on paper but in reality was an absolute joke. We certainly would not recommend.

My colleague booked his leaving do here and he booked out a space and ordered a buffet for everyone. Naturally, we were a little mindful that when we came here last Christmas the service and food was shockingly bad and I am sad to say that there has not been much change since.
When the buffet came out there was no explanation from the staff as to what everything was and there was some fun as to guessing what it was. The Falafel had whole chickpeas in it that were not ground (i.e. poorly made), I could not figure out of the sandwich was pulled pork or tuna and the chips were tasteless and rubbery.
Tables were sticky, some of the chairs had some really dubious stains - including handprints and potentially urine.
I would rather pay premium and go to A-Canteen for Cocktails!

I went for a night out here last weekend, the music was great and the atmosphere was good however in the 3 hours I was therefore 2 half hours trips to the bar was very frustrating with bar staff who were generally so slow could not take an order more than one drink at a time and kept asking what I have ordered which was a simple vodka and coke.

I would not return to this restaurant, the food took ages to come out, everything felt grubby. Chicken was served pink. Veggie Wrap fell apart. Chips were foul and we waited ages for a kids ice cream to be served. Really disappointed
