Bulldog Barns was the final destination on our mini Antiques Road Trip back in early March this year, my Mum and I love nothing more than browsing antiques and collectables and we were not disappointed! We were particularly keen to visit the Barns as we had seen a previous reviewers photo of the huge Croque Monsieur available in the Barns Kitchen Restaurant and we knew we had to try one! we had a Croque Monsieur each, chunky chips to share and a pot of tea, we had no room for afters! we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, the staff were really friendly and the lovely little restaurant was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. We felt the meal was very reasonably priced at just under £20 for the two of us and unlike a previous reviewer we did not feel the need for salad to be served with the Croque Monsieur, personally I'd prefer it without, so maybe the 'option' to have a side salad could be a solution. We will definitely return!

Heard about the Barns and needed a new place to catch up with a friend. This is perfect as it’s about halfway. We met for breakfast. What a choice! One eggs benedict, full English and pancake stack and several pots of tea later we’d got full tummies and were full of “shared information”. Sitting outside in the shade on this lovely hot day was perfect. The lunch menu looked amazing. We’ll be back. Thank you team Bulldog!

Delicious milkshakes with all the trimmings - a really gorgeous indulgent treat. Lovely food with super friendly and accommodating staff.

Huge amount of furnishings and decor to peruse whilst waiting for your food. All in settings which really help you to imagine the pieces in your own home. A real challenge was not to buy too much as it was all so well put together.

Great portion sizes, very filling and super tasty. Everyone loved their dish so pretty much the whole menu got the thumbs up!

Good day out at Bulldog Barns spoilt when we decided to have a meal at the Barns Kitchen. It took three quarters of an hour before our meals were received and then only after asking one of the waitresses, who appeared to delight in announcing loudly that there were other customers before us. All of whom I hasten to add, had ordered after us but had been served before us. We were impolitely informed that it took time to cook a chicken breast! What! Three quarters of an hour for a croque monsieur, ploughman's lunch and a caesar salad the size of a side order (and with no parmesan!). I don't think sol

Thank you for your review I am so pleased you contacted us. I wasn’t in yesterday but have spoken to some customers who were here and they were quick to mention the woman who gave the finger to my waitress, yes our meals do take a while to come out on a busy day because they are all cooked fresh to order, yes even your chicken,,, !,,!, that’s why we are so busy. Most people who come are happy to enjoy a drink and the sunshine in our beautiful courtyard. You were not served out of turn! My waitresses are fantastic cheerful and hard working. Visited with friends and had a lovely lunch in the garden area.
Food and drinks were delicious.
This was our first visit to Norfolk and everyone was welcoming and friendly.A lovely little treasure trove looking around the barns.
Enjoyed looking around the barns and bought a lovely cabinet which I shall paint to remind me of our lovely weekend in Norfolk.
