Nice trip. Beautiful landscape along the way to the icecave. Far to much time to prepare and mingle with the dogs. To little time for dogsledding, that was the funny part. To low speed during the sledding and to short run. Disappointing size at the ice cave, and not that big adventure as we expected. Maybe smart to go to a bigger ice cave. Kindly dogs and then you had the guide; Jan.... an experience by itself! He was very energetic , had a lot of knowledge and he really loved his work. Jan was very friendly to all in the group. A funny group composed of all kind of people. I think everyone felt comfortable.

Had a 4 hours sledge trip in Bolterdalen with a Danish guide.

Very nice experience and a very proffesional guide. After the trip we got coffee in a nice cabin.

Recommended.

As neither of us had been dog sledding at all, we picked a short trip. I'm not particularly fond of dogs, but they were delightful. I'm not sure if it was my fault, but our team decided to follow a different route from the others. Fortunately we were able to stop, and the guide came back on foot to rescue us! She soon got us back on track again, and the rest of the trip was fine. Would be very happy to repeat the experience, as I really enjoyed it!

Nice experience, but the dogs were lazy. Only the sledge with the guide, Carina, which had 12 dogs got the speed up. The 3 other sledges with 6 dogs felt to be a dog short, we were expecting to fell the "power" of the dog sled, but we didn't´t. However, the dogs were lovely, seemed happy and well taken cared of. We got warm clothes and had a nice trip. The trip in it self were under one hour each way, a little too short when you book a 7-hour trip in our opinion..The rest of the time was spent grooming the dogs and preparing for the trip.

A 3 day dog sled tour with Jan has been a highlight of my recent trip to Svalbard. Along with 3 others I experienced his warm hospitality, attention to detail, humour, safety for us all, and his knowledge. His energy amazed me. We all enjoyed assisting with the dogs where able to. This Expedition in the Wilderness will never be forgotten. The scenery was awesome and the dogs, all with their own name, responded so well to Jans instructions.
