The stay was wonderful, Beautiful location, good quality rooms, delectable food and excellent service.The resort has been built with utmost care . Would recommend this resort to any traveller visiting Dalhousie.

I have booked 4 rooms in hotel Sagrika Resort for our Guest Suresh Shirodkar and Family from 16th May to 18th May 2018. During the stay we didn't got even a single complaint from Guest. After check out guest gave feedback that it was a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect from service point of view and food quality was good. My guest was quite happy with hotel chosen by us. He gave 5 out of 5 to our company Maa Gita Holidays who believe in "a worry less holidays...."as a feedback for this trip. Thank you Sagrika resort.

We visited this resort for 2 nights during our honeymoon. So here it goes..
Was impossible to find the place... no signboards of any kind. Thanks to the person we saw on the street who showed us the place.
No proper entrance... the pics shown here are complete false. There was a big dug up pit where they show the stairs and entrance. Had to walk up a narrow path full of stones and pebbles inviting a fall anytime.
Then to our surprise there is no reception or lobby to this hotel. We were checked in from a room which looked like the staff stayed in.
Ones in the room there was no tea coffee amenities and on asked for a cup of coffee, were denied saying it is very late in the night which was 10pm. It was 29th of February, in the middle of winter, and it was snowing in the hills, and to our horror, there was no kind of heating in the room.
Room was quite decent but did not feel worth the price we had paid.
In the morning for breakfast, there was no proper dining room, it was arranged in a courtyard overlooking the large pit where apparently construction was going on.
On enquiring about this we were told that the resort is under renovation.
The staff taking care of us was good though. He tried to makeup for all the mess in the resort.
I am working in hospitality industry for a considerable amount of time and would suggest the management that, if you are renovating the place and if your guests can face inconvenience do not take the bookings and make their stay unpleasant.

I was very impressed by the excellent and prompt service provided by Mr Parshotam Thakur. Anything we needed was presented immediately with a smile. Room no 19 appeared to be recently renovated.
The dust road and the precarious metal steps leading to the hotel were a shock.

Two families, that of a friend and us, landed at this so-called ‘resort’ on Dussehra weekend. Despite alerting the hotel about our late evening arrival, our allotted rooms were not ready even at 7 pm and the managers had to be repeatedly coaxed to equip the rooms with linen & toiletry. Then , my friend realised that we had been given lower category rooms - ‘standard’ rooms, instead of ‘super deluxe ‘ rooms paid for and booked through MakeMyTrip (MMT). Repeated pleas to the managers to show us different category rooms fell on deaf ears - they said as all rooms were occupied, they could not show us any other category. MMT, when approached promptly agreed to cancel our booking, if we so wanted, and refund the booking amount. Ultimately, we had no choice and decided to stay at Sagarika, as Dalhousie was inundated with tourists on Dussehra weekend, and we did not relish the prospect of a late night hotel search at that time.
Our booking package included breakfast and dinner. The service in the only restaurant was sloppy, to say the least, and food quality was mediocre. There was no supervision and nobody to recoup empty chafing dishes, while guests waited. Getting a paper napkin seemed a Herculean effort.
The saving grace was a small lawn, two levels above the road, where one could enjoy a drink or two outdoors, prior to dinner. However, even that pleasure was dimmed with rowdy guests constantly interfering with the music system and not allowing any music to play, while the management merely watched in silence.
Requested to pack some breakfast for our early morning departure from Dalhousie, the management acquiesced to give us jam-bread & boiled eggs.
The overall experience of the stay left a bad taste with us.

As you requested for cancellation prior to your arrival we can understand your concern

We have offered the Super Deluxe rooms as per your reservation made through MMT

As all the rooms were sold out as you mentioned in the review due to weekend if we had any other rooms available we shall have offered the same.

The managers and staff are always present while the buffet is laid out in restaurant and always ready to help the guest

All guest are equal to us we can not stop any guest to enjoy by diffrent kind of music

Buffet menu can not be packed for the early morning check out so we had offered the best option to carry along while you are travelling

The room was personally checked by the two manager on duty

We try our very best to maintain optimum standards

We do appreciate your valued feedback and assure you of our constant endeavor to maintain and further improve upon our services, and regret the inconvenience caused if any.
