This is a nearly-new hotel (presumably built on time for the GOP Convention in 2016). Facility and hosts are first rate, and we had a great time here. The Hilton Honors Digital Key app allows you to select your room ahead of time and use your phone to unlock your room - it truly enhances your experience. A good value overall!
Well, except for the parking situation.
There is no self-parking option. There is no real overnight street parking, nor nearby third-party structure overnight parking. If you're driving in, your only real option is to pony up an additional $38/night for valet parking.
The Hilton Honors (Digital Key) app offered us a self-park add-on option during check-in, which we took, only to be forced last-minute to dispense with the app's promised convenience and have to go to the front desk to be told that the app offered self-park "in error", with no attempt made to discount valet in consolation.
As if this were not enough... as it is the only option, valet gets easily jammed up, and you WILL find yourself waiting as much as an HOUR to get your car out of hock. We gave up at one point and determined it was faster and cheaper to grab a rideshare option, which always got to the hotel in a couple minutes flat.
Wonderful hotel! But if you have a car, caveat emptor.More
