We have bought our family here over many years. Now that our daughters have married and have children of their own, we still enjoy family holidays .. Three generators all together. Fishing and paddle boarding is a great hit with the sons in law. The grandies just love the pool and the spa. The adults love happy hour on the lawn.

Room tip: Just try it you will not be disapponted

Very well located within walking distance to numerous restaurants and shopping centres. Centrally located to all the Sunshine coast has to offer i.e. thehinterland, markets and beaches Units have fantastic views and are well appointed. Management are very friendly and obliging. We have stayed here several times and reccomend it for a good all round holiday or short break.

Booked into Trafalgar Towers last July for 3 weeks, have stayed there before and find it very reasonable and a great place to stay. Our room on the 8th floor had a North facing balcony which was bathed in sunshine from dawn until 3.30pm, also faced the Maroochy river with spectacular views of both the River and the adjacent Sea. easy walking distance to the Duporth hotel and the "Big Top" market complex. The whole area abounds with Restaurants and we found a great Tapis bar in Queen st. Taxi fro the airport to Trafalgar Towers cost around $15. If your planning a Queensland holiday give this a go, booking essential. The place also has a great water edge heated pool and spa.

Room tip: Book early.

We decided to stay here due to the Tripadvisor reviews of this property. This is a 3 star building and property not 4 star. Although the position is good and the aspect of the apartments that face the water is good the building is 40+ years old and although apartment 4B that we stayed in has been renovated and has most basic things that you may require to cook with, it is low down in the building and a higher level eg. above 7 would provide a better view. Although previous reviews mentioned the friendliness of the management, we found them distracted and not client focussed.
For the same cost in this area there are a lot of other alternatives that may suit travellers and it would be worth 'shopping around'.
We would not stay here again.

Room tip: Rooms higher on the building facing the river in the middle of the building, particularly in the warmer weather

Dear Del, I am so sorry you did not enjoy your stay at Trafalgar. Our ranking is purely from our guest feedback which has been consistently excellent over the years. I pride myself on friendliness and customer service and can only apologise if I was distracted. (I had just arrived back from annual leave after a long and exhausting trip home from Bali and was indeed distracted the rest of the week with all the end of financial year obligations - it was head down all week) I take on board your comments here. As for the property, we are 34 years young and proud of the constant upgrade and improvements to the common areas. Our heated poo/spal is spectacular, and the marina and tennis court are in excellent condition. We have a major project each year and this year is to upgrade the games room and the streetscape. Our owners and guests are always impressed at the continual improvement and comment that Trafalgar gets better each year. Unfortunately level 4 is too low for the view you were hoping for - the view from floor 5 and up includes river and ocean. It would be nice for you to give us another try in the future.

Lovely views from this Unit but having stayed at Trafalgar Towers every year for 11 years and in this unit many times it's annoying when you report maintenance issues and they don't get actioned. This time we reported that there were no chairs on the balcony and it too 2 mentions before some appeared. Units should be checked before the guests arrive to ensure everything is ok.

My sincere apologies for the inconvenience. My husband and I were on annual leave when you arrived. Replacement outdoor furniture had been ordered prior and was due before your arrival. Obviously this didn't happen as scheduled. The relief managers told me they were able to find you a substitute setting as soon as possible. I am sorry you had to ask for it. It was an oversight on my part not to inform the relief managers of the situation before we left. If I had have explained this to them, I am sure they would have had a setting in place before your check in.
