My sister and I came here to get breakfast but turns out it is closed for a few weeks! Wanted to give people a heads up as we couldn’t find any information about this online :) Hopefully it’s open the next time we visit Daylesford, looks lovely!

Went here following some online reviews. I was surprised to see a fairly limited menu. We had eggs on toast as nothing else on the menu caught our eye- but worth a look if you are looking for something different. Quirky set up- old and small, friendly staff. Probably would
Not return due to the range of other options available in Daylesford

My wife and I were tipped off about Awkward Jeffery for breakfast and what a treat it was.
It is a quirky little place a little further down from the main strip but still well within walking distance.
You can select your own fillings etc but we both like to try something different that we may not choose if making ourselves and had meals from the set menus which were absolutely wonderful.

Food was just Devine, I loved the fact you could create your own breakfast with your staple bread and select extras to your liking.
Highly recommend the boot root relish to match with the Meredith cheese, even asked if they sold the relish to public but no success
Small seating areas, we sat upstairs at communal table.
Coffee was just perfect and one main staff member we had was just gorgeous, friendly and welcoming

Very cute cafe - a little away from the cafe strip. We happened upon it accidentally and so glad we did. It was our last meal in Daylesford and we’d had a bit of a foodie feast so expectations were high. The coffees (long black and flat white) were delicious. Breakfasts were - mushrooms on toast, Buttermilk bun with egg and bacon and Smashed avo on toast. And each had a little something that lifted it to the next level- deliciously cooked fennel and crispy basil with the mushrooms, a tangy relish with the bacon and eggs and a wonderful little bitey sauce with the avo. The service was friendly was lovely. Would definitely revisit if I return to Daylesford
