Sutton Bank. Beautiful views from both sides of the road and fantastic walks that are suitable to all levels of walkers including the elderly as they are very much on the flat and well kept. points of interest marked up and plenty of seating to take in the views.
We also enjoyed watching the gliders taken into the air by plane right over our heads. Parking costs not too bad as money supports the visitors centre and a local tea room/facilities are good.

Some nice walks around here and separate cycle tracks. Some of these can be muddy especially when heading down to Gormire lake.
There is a fee for parking which I don't mind paying if it helps improve the facilities. This area is good for dog walking too but the cafe is not dog friendly.

Really enjoyed visiting Sutton Bank. Beautiful views from both sides of the road and fantastic walks that are suitable to all levels of walkers including the elderly as they are very much on the flat and well kept. The gliders if flying are an added bonus and great to watch taking off and landing. Parking cost not too bad and a local tea room/facilities with info is great.
