Thank you for a much needed level of consideration. I was hungry, but wanted good food, a good atmosphere, attention to detail and clean toilets to wash my hands in. That's actually hard to find imo. Seating in the Venue has been well thought out, as well as the location of the bar that welcomes you as you enter, the choice of music was settling and the customers were all obviously enjoying the benefits. It's no surprise that the owners are veterans in interior decoration, all you have to do is looking around.., customer relations and connecting with people whilst offer high standards of food all served with quality cutlery and glass wear.

Thank you for a much needed escape and eatery.

We popped down to Whitehaven to see The Pelican Sailing Ship that had just arrived and found this place for lunch. It was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Lots of tables reserved so probably best to book in advance if you can. Menu was varied and good. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Food was home made and plentiful. The ham in my sandwich tasted like real ham cut off the bone. Scott had the Cumbrian Sausage, with home made chips & onions rings, fried egg and fresh peas, and they were fresh not processed. A lovely place for lunch or birthday treat. However the front door does not close properly so there was a draft, with this fixed it would be a 10 out of 10 place. Would visit again and would recommend.

Ate here with family. It was quiet when we arrived but soon filled up. Booking essential. Staff are friendly and efficient. Service is prompt .Food was varied and tasty.Tables were quite small to fit food on. Drinks and cocktails nice and well presented.Prices a bit steep for Whitehaven more city like.
