As locals we have visited this pub many times over the last 3 years and have always had a lovely time and enjoyed the food. Sadly, with a lack of management, the pub has gone downhill significantly. We visited on a quiet midweek afternoon, there were very few customers and whilst the young girl who was ‘working’ sat and chatted with her friend (whist eating her m&s salad) we sat with dirty, uncleared tables next to us. When asked if the kitchen was open she said ‘oh, I think the chef is on a break’. No service, pretty unfriendly and certainly won’t be rushing back in a hurry!
