Beautiful hotel, rooms are very nice, food is decent and service is excellent.Beloved is best restaurant for privileged guests( so it’s a must to pay the extra for that) you don’t need to leave the hotel but if you go longer there are plenty of excursions near by. They have some entertainment each night so that’s nice as well.

Room Tip: Building 4 in middle between beach and lobby

Overall we had a great experience. Our favorite employees were Francesca from the entertainment team and Daniel from the spa they were so amazing and gave us great recommendations inside the resort and outside of the resort. Eric at the pool bar was also amazing. We liked how they had entertainment every night. We wish there could’ve been a little more service on the beach during the day. Also the beloved restaurant and beach area is VIP that you have to pay per day-we did not do because we didn’t think it was worth it but we did go out to dinner there one night to try it and Was cheap per person. Not bad. The Italian restaurant and Spanish tapas where our least favorite. The food was cold and just not good at all. Our favorite restaurant was the steakhouse. We both did get sick from the Mexican buffet at lunch even though it was so good. Which we ended up finding out that other people also got sick from that place. It is nice though that you do not have to make dinner reservations every night you can go to whatever restaurant you please without having to wait. The beach it’s self was beautiful and there are workers every morning that clean up the sea weed which is very nice and the ocean was so warm.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly and efficient Staff. Interesting layout of the hotel with the jungle atmosphere on the central path. Spacious and clean rooms. Buffet meals might be a little cold but all others were excellent. Beach was cleaned daily. The only problem might be getting a sun-bed, where you want it, if you are not an early riser but where isn't this a problem?

Transfer from airport around 1h 15m by coach.
We were looking for an adult only resort which was not too big and had a decent beach. This definitely fitted the bill and got what we expected in that respect.
We booked this holiday over 9 months in advance and e mailed hotel for a point of contact to make a room request nearer the time. I am sure these hotels get many such requests and full understand that nothing is guaranteed. However on arrival were told the hotel was full and we could either upgrade or move to another Catalonia hotel for 2 nights after which we would be brought back. The hard sell continued for a good 5 minutes though I insisted we were going nowhere and neither would we be upgrading certainly not at our expense. Eventually he wrote a room number on a card and told us to give it the bell boy.
My request had been for an elevated room in a quiet area. The room allocated was on the ground floor and was the nearest room bar none to the Rauxa club where music blares out from around 5 pm most nights making it impossible to sit on your balcony. Not a great start !
However things improved fairly rapidly and quickly settled in.
We soon realised that the the food was some of the best we had had on similarly priced holidays . The quality and selection in the buffet was particularly impressive.
Staff were in the majority very friendly, and not always because they were looking for a tip. I don't do name checks for the sake of it but want to give a special mention to our room maid Paula. Always had a smile on her face, nothing was too much trouble and the room was kept spotless. How you can create so many different animals out of towels is beyond me!
The beach was beautiful and staff worked tirelessly to clear the seaweed every day. Beach beds always available though it was a little more crowded than I had expected . We prefer the beach to the pool which was just as well because unless you arrived at the pool pre 7:30 you had no chance. I did the "walk of shame " one morning around 7:15 but felt like a naughty schoolboy so never did it again. Most of those with towels on are unoccupied for half the day.
Apart from room maid I tipped little and often to waiters and bar staff, though this became a problem during our second week when I ran out of small denomination notes. Again reception staff unhelpful and said they could not help even when I explained reason.
Weather was constant sunshine though sea a little rough meaning snorkelling was hard work .
Pity about the reception staff who I'm sure are under pressure for the hard sell upgrades and commission but other than them full marks to all staff.
All in all. An enjoyable stay.
