We ate at the Drake two nights in a row!! This is a very nice place with a strong food and drink menu and great view.
The servers were very friendly and also very accommodating when we found ourselves in need of a spot unexpectedly the second evening.
We had the Drake burger on the first night which was very good and the clams and spaghetti and chicken the second evening.
The dining room overlooks Lake Ontario as does the patio.
Enjoy!
Watch out for the bugs at dusk on the patio!

We went for dinner last night at Drake Devonshire and the night started off well as our hostess quickly found us a table and was super kind. Our server, however, was absent for a good portion of the night, and after we ordered our drinks, we were informed 40 mins later that they were given to another table by accident. The server did not smile the entire night or checked if we were ok. Then when the dessert came we saw it go to another table, and ten mins later came back to us. Since it was an ice cream sundae it was mushy by the time it got to our table.

Food was good but I feel like service is the most important thing for a restaurant of that grade. It's not exactly a street vendor that can get away with shotty service.

I have been here three times now and each time I have a wonderful experience.
Breakfast is a great way to start your PEC day - sit on the patio and soak up the sun.
Dinner is delicious and their cocktail menu is as innovative as their art collection.
I really love it here and go back every time we are in PEC.

This was our third time dining here, but the first time this summer. The view fortunately hasn’t changed and is stunning but the food, certainly since our visit has. I started with a ceviche of sorts that was supposed to be a mixture of shrimp and white fish with an avocado cream. It came with no accompaniments so I asked for a couple of tostadas (they were with another menu item). Well my dish came in a bowl and had a couple of thin squares of fish and about two shrimp cut in thirds, swimming in what can only described as a pale green, slightly fishy water. Did I need a spoon? My young, but very pleasant server, said probably and added that they must have changed the dish since she was last in. It was fishy, and vile looking so it was sent back. My husband had the crab cakes that were terrible; fishy and strangely seasoned. The asparagus was heavily battered in an attempt at a tempura batter, but was too greasy to eat and was obviously fried in the same oil as the fish. At this point we decided not to proceed with anything else. We enjoyed our wine and the beautiful view and next time will just stick to that.

Fine dining in the heart of Prince Edward County. Menu has a bit of everything, from burgers and fries to pasta to lobster. Food was great, scenery was very nice with patio seating right by the water. Only downside of sitting outside are the mosquitos. Staff were friendly and professional.
