Very romantic place to stay!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Sep 28, 2024
This place is amazing!!!! The bedding and bed are so comfortable. Great views of the bay. I didn't try out the restaurant. Parking lot is close to the individual buildings. There are chairs throughout the property so you can enjoy the view. I would definitely stay here again.
Date of stay: September 2024
Room Tip: The Ridgecrest building has the great views!

We spent two nights on a recent trip to Newfoundland . We received a complimentary room upgrade. It is in an old house with loads of charm. We had a beautiful view of the bay. The room was immaculate, the bed comfortable, and the fridge a nice extra. Staff was amazing and helpful. Skerwink trail starts very close to the hotel. As the room is equipped with a fridge, buy your groceries on your way in, at a larger centre, as services in town are quite limited

Room tip: As the room is equipped with a fridge, buy necessities at a larger centre before you come onto the peninsula

We didn’t stay here but did have dinner. The restaurant has two servings, at 5 and 7:30pm. Everything is from their gardens or locally sourced. The dining room is placed on the enclosed porch, overlooking a beautiful bay. The food is imaginative and beautifully prepared. This is by far the best place to eat in this part of Newfoundland.

Room tip: Must make reservations for dinner.

Fantastic all way around. Rooms so cozy with original style floor boards. View worth a million dollars and so quiet. Plenty of room and a small fridge. Mini split which kept room nice and cool. Service at desk and dining room exceptional. Would like to see a little more variety with the dinner menu. Breakfast was great.

If you are in the area, this is the absolute best place to stay. The dinners are spectacular and the breakfast is great too. It is steps from the famous Skerwink Trail and Port Rexton Brewery. Highly recommended for everyone from couples to families.

This hotel and restaurant are on a hill overlooking the water the views are fabulous
the Inn is one of many owned by the Innkeeper. They are spacious and very clean

We ate at the gourmet restaurant. They only have one or two items on the menu every night but if you like Cod, Salmon or Halibut you are in luck

    great wine selection also
