“Very Nice.”
Review of Sombrio Beach

Sombrio Beach
Reviewed 17 October 2017

This is one of my favorite beaches to date. When you first get onto the beach it is a bit crowed, however once you get past that it really opens up. Which I loved, it was nice to get away from the crowds. The hidden waterfall took a little bit to find, but it was well worth the walk. There is also a lovely little suspension bridge as well. I highly recommend this beach to everyone.

We went one way as there is a west and east side. We got to cross a suspension bridge. Next time we would do the other side and find the hidden waterfalls.

Our car is a small car,but not bad to get there. It is very quiet beach. We enjoyed hiked there, and also we was careful a bear because someone met a bear on the trail before we went there one day.

The road to the beach is filled with pot holes and huge crater like puddles because of the post snow and heavy rain falls ,
You need to look carefully for signs that say Sombrio beach 400 m as we missed the gravel turn off which is unsigned .
even in the cold and rain there were a few surfers enjoying the waves and a few campers on the beach .Lots of beautiful rocks to be seen on this beach.
