What a wonderful location to have your office, inside the York Town Hall.
It would be a joy to come to work in this grand building.
Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

This visitors centre is in the beautiful old Town Hall building. There is free wifi, lots of brochures, and friendly helpful staff. We were able to wander round the building, which is being refurbished.

A good country drive via Great Eastern Highway to York. A coffee was the first must & had the choice of several places. The town has a lovely main street with many old buildings which have been preserved. The information centre is located in the Town Hall & staffed by the wonderful Vicki who is a fountain of knowledge & very enthusiastic about her town. Definitely explore the Town Hall building. The Jacaranda trees were in full bloom & looked magnificent. A few hours was not long enough to explore the town. We went on a Tuesday & several businesses were closed. Drove back to the city via Beverley which was quite a distance, but the scenery was lovely.

The information service is in the town hall and provides an excellent introduction to the town. The staff is friendly and happy to help. The upstairs display is well worth a visit to learn some of the history of the town.
