We took the tricycle going there. For visitors like us the regular rate per adult is 8pesos kids are free. The tricycle can transport as much as 8persons. The museum is just beside the city hall and walking distance to the old Spanish bridge. Entrance is free. The museum is well organized and has good amount of historical displays. Make sure to read the signs to further enjoy the museum experience. They sell souvenirs like small capiz chimes at 180pesos, key chains and ref magnets for 50pesos and bracelets.

This museum is an old water tank. As such the structure itself is full of history. Every few months they change their theme inside to promote everyone to visit, learn and appreciate culture and arts!

It is a quaint museum.

They showcased clothes, old articles and even weapons. I just wished they showcased more of the city's history.

Lovely museum and you would get to appreciate their history.

Just so you know, they are closed on Sundays and they have a very beautiful gift shop.

The museum was small and simple. But from its simplicity, I was able to appreciate this place for what it is. The location was perfect, just near the plaza and other local dining shops. Its external structure, humble maybe, but has this classic appeal that it's maintained properly. Inside the museum, there are messages on the wall as to how to navigate through the records and artifacts, where to start, the limitations and variations of the history they're showing, etc., all as if having a tour guide. It took me about 15 minutes to search through the features of this building. It was that simple. But it's a good way to start of your journey in Capiz.
