We enjoyed the hush puppies hot dogs and grilled cheese. The sweet potato fries were great. We even got an order of the hush puppies to go they were that good.

Melissa at the Kure Beach diner, made our dining experience delightful. This quiet little diner has views of the fishing pier, and the food was delicious....

I really wanted to like this place! The atmosphere is great, it has the cute 50's diner thing going for it. However, I felt like the food, price, and friendliness of the staff were just OK. We went for breakfast with our family and ordered the pancakes, veggie omelets, and biscuits & gravy. No one was blown away by the food we received. The pancakes were tough and the omelets lacked flavor. My husband asked if the biscuit on the biscuits & gravy could be browned on the griddle or toasted and our waitress explained that they could not do it because " it took too much time". Granted we were there on a Saturday morning, but it was during the off season and the restaurant was not that crowded. With tip our bill was over $50 and we didn't feel it was worth it.

Most friendly staff, good food, service and even take out orders. It is conveniently located next to the beach and across from the park with seating and swings.
