The service here is consistently awful! We stopped going to tge smokehouse because they are rude. The tap house seemed to be better but today it took them over an hour to produce a grilled cheese and fries. 4 servers and the bartender all asking if we need anything and still no sandwich. Unbelievable and unacceptable. My husband loves the smoked wings but it isn't worth putting up with the hassle. Managements only answer was things will change and please come back. We will not and suggest that you don't either!

This is a great place to sit on a beautiful day. You can relax on the patio and watch the traffic roll by. Enjoy some of the great Aviator brews, including some of my favorites, the Devil's Trampling Ground Triple, affectionately dubbed "The Devil", or the MOEB Mango peach beer. Full menu available from the smoke house across the street. Bring your dog, they have bowls for them! Enjoy a leisurely visit, or hang out at night around the multiple fire pits. Awesome bands on weekends too.

Went for a beer and stayed for dinner. Inside and outside seating right on the Main Street. Bar staff was helpful about the beers and tried a few before deciding. Pleasantly surprised by the food menu. It is brought from the restaurant across the street. We had 12 wings with one side (french fries) and the wings were so huge we could only eat eight of them. They had a delicious smoked taste. The french fries were awesome. Best part was the price. Thirty five dollars for three beers and dinner. Wow!!!

Went to the Aviator Taphouse for an early dinner yesterday and we were very pleasantly surprised. The selection of beer was very good and food down right delicious. Folks all around us were enjoying flights of their beers and they looked really good. I decided to have a grapefruit variation of their HogWild IPA and found it very refreshing. It staked up well opposite the Rueben sandwich and fries I ordered for my meal. While the beer was good, the sandwich was great...real home cooked corned beef. Not the deli stuff but real corned beef on what appeared to be home cooked rye bread. And the fries were very good too. Cooked just right and seemed to have some Parmesan on them. I will say we had some issues with the service as they did not seem to be at full staff levels. But we saw past that this time and will look forward to a return visit.

Downtown Fuquay-Varina this is the place to be seen. The newest and by far the largest footprint in this little town. Aviator has expanded from an out of town brewery location to the "IN" place of the town. Located in an older building remodeled and expanded to have a beautiful outside bar and seating, this would be great for listening to live music. This is just one of at least three different buildings and Aviator businesses across the street from each other. We had lunch and the wait staff had to cross the street to the Smokehouse to pick up our food order. We would love to go back on a Friday or Saturday evening, I am guessing it is a really fun crowd.
