Food was truly great! For lunch, though, it was a little expensive. Sandwich was $13 and didn't even include fries. Adding fries, drink, tip brought lunch for one to almost $25.

Watts Grocery is our go-to place when we have out of town guests or if we are in the mood for a quieter place than some of the downtown restaurants (and they have parking!). We love the mix of a more casual setting and excellent food. We never feel rushed here. But on that note, the service is wildly uneven. We've been there six times in the past 12 months and out servers have ranged from outstanding to good on three trips and from clueless to rude on the next three. I can shrug off poor service in basic settings, but when you are making it an evening out, it matters more.

Loved brunch with friends at this friendly place! Having spent about a decade living in the deep South, I always grab the chance to enjoy some authentic Southern eats. This place did not disappoint. Starting with a blood orange mimosa and churros with chocolate sauce was a lovely way to begin the meal. I had the Watts' Breakfast with perfectly cooked poached eggs, cheese grits, and a tender, flaky biscuit with sausage gravy. Yep, I went for it. And, I was very glad. It was sooo good! The art on the walls is fun and beautiful as well!

My wife and I have recently gone to Watt Grocery again and, as always, we had a wonderful lunch. They have a great variety on their menu, with their add-on hamburger and their shrimp poor boy our favorite lunches.
The food is great and the restaurant has plenty of room to bring friends, family or co-workers. It is a little high on price, but the quality of the food/meals and their great service combine to make it so worth it for a great lunch.

Went for first time last night. Wasn’t busy when we e arrived at 6:45 but got busier by 8:30. Service was good. Food was good. Had tuna and hubby had ribeye. Appetizers of oyster and shrimp fritters was good. The wine selection was just ok but the Ginger and the rye cocktail was good.
