Stopped in for lunch. You order at a counter and sit inside or outside. Your food is delivered. It's in the Brightleaf section, restored old tobacco buildings. The sandwiches are terrific. We both had ham and Swiss panini. Piles of ham and two slices of Swiss one on each piece of rye bread crispy pressed not greasy. A honey mustard added that sweet and sharp flavor. The sandwiches are so large we could probably share next time. The menus, available at the counter have two pages of choices and many sound worth trying. Since we stopped by at lunch hour it was very busy. It is clearly a go to spot for shoppers and workers. Even though it was busy the service was fast and friendly.

Last time my husband and I went to Parker and Otis we had their shrimp BLT, chicken salad with apples and bleu cheese, and the summer corn and tomato salad. Everything was amazing. We sat on the outdoor terrace and had a wonderful lunch.

Just the right balance of homey southern comfort and modern charm. (You can get unsweetened seltzer if you want it or pimento spread if that floats your boat).

This was our favorite restaurant in Durham. We stumbled across it for breakfast and the people could not have been nicer.
And the food! Unreal. Everything is homemade, served up with a yummy cheddar biscuit big enough to share.
I had the ham and asparagus scramble and it was light, fluffy and full of flavor.
We only wish we had been in Durham longer so we could go back.

Great brunch and lunch spot! Pretty big indoors and outdoors areas. I think it is a fresh spin on classic southern food. Can't recommend the pimento grilled cheese enough!!

There's also a cute shop to buy local treats but it's on the pricier side.
