Stopped in today for lunch and it was nothing short of perfect. I had the combination Po’ Boy. The fish cooked to perfection and the garlic mayo was just enough! It’s a drive into a rural oasis at Jake’s.

Visited Jake’s for dinner last night to meet friends for dinner. It was suggested that we try the double cut apple pork chops. It was amazing!!! The chop was cooked to perfection; very tender and the serving size was enough for us to share. The flavorful apples was a welcome addition to the chop. We ordered a side of macaroni and cheese which was also very delicious. The restaurant’s ambiance is very nice and can be one for couples, family or friends to dine in comfort. I would certainly recommend you visit Jake’s!!

P.S. don’t forget dessert. Try the apple crisp!!!

An old gas station that was converted into a restaurant. The service was great and the food was very good. They have a nice menu with a variety of American dishes ranging from hamburgers to surf and turf. Prices range from $7 to $35. It had been featured on the Food Network. Handicap friendly.

My husband and o have been coming here for 2 1/2 years. Staff is always very friendly and the food has never disappointed us. I like everything but I especially enjoy the Blackened Flounder with grit cake, Flounder sandwich or the pork chop dinner.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, so our expectations weren't high. However, we were delightfully surprised! The building is a renovated gas station with rustic, eclectic, nostalgic decor. The food was high quality, well-seasoned fare. The menu features elevated southern cuisine including shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, pork chops, and crab cakes. Note that the menu on line has not been updated, and is somewhat different than the actual menu. We were disappointed that they no longer offer deviled eggs or pimento cheese as listed on the on line menu. The service was good.
