Fabulous short hike with a delightful falls and swimming area. Park at Looking Glass Rock overlook on Blue Ridge Parkway.

This was an easy hike through a pretty forest area. I was expecting more of a cascading and tall waterfall, which this is not. But it was neat. There were a ton of people swimming in the creek/river. The trail supposedly continues to connect with Graveyard Fields (which was an outstanding hike), but we couldn't find the connector. I believe it's only about a mile out, and then a mile back. Park at the Looking Glass overlook (mile marker 417) and the trailhead is across the street. It's a good spot for stretching your legs after driving the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The short hike takes about 15-20 mins and is only moderately strenuous on the way back. The falls are definitely beautiful and there seemed to be some spots for swimming and wading, however it was too cold to do this when we went. The entrance is right across the street from the lookout/parking area.

Nice hike to a beautiful waterfall. You can jump off a large rock into a nice cold pool. Lots of places here to have some quiet couple time by the stream.

This is a very beautiful location. A small hike (which is not marked off the parkway). Water was a little chilly but the view was breathtaking.
