A very enjoyable experience, the service was fantastic, and the food was great. Vegetarian options available, farm produce including honey, wine, chocolate and preserves available. Family friendly with room for the kids to run around.

We had a lovely lunch here, catering for the vegetarians and gluten free in our group with tasty home cooked mushroom and truffle pasta that was the best we’ve had for a long time. Great range of local honey and chocolate. Outside some cool dog and camel sculptures and ducks provided an interesting outlook, and great for kids to run around and explore. Lovely friendly staff. Will visit again :)

I was so impressed with Barnyard1978, which we have been to a number of times and it always impresses. It's a beautiful little place with a nice intimate feel and passionate professionals working there. Myself and my young son are Gluten Free, and it was a real treat to go somewhere that the GF options weren't add-ons. We had GF pasta, and it was just incredible!! Apparently it took 6months to refine, and you can tell. I was in heaven! But Barnyard 1978 is just like that, everything they make and sell is incredible, not just GF options. We just love the place. The desserts are very memorable too. Absolutely get yourself there for a peaceful meal, where hours later you'll still be savouring the flavours. Food that makes you feel GOOD! Thanks Barnyard 1978.

Beautiful settings with stunning sculptures set the scene.
Warm welcome by friendly staff.
Very nice to see an abbreviated menu ensuring quality dishes.
A simple starter of bread shows the attention to detail, 2 slices of thick grilled sourdough with whipped feta and butter, olive oil , best dish of this type I have had..$8 !
A beautiful pulled lamb pasta dish followed, chocolate brownie and excellent coffee to finish..all so very very good. Excellent wine, honey to taste then a very reasonable bill.
Visit here, you will not be disappointed!
