The location is just gorgeous. Initially we were inside but were fortunate enough to them find a table outside, which was gorgeous. It’s not every day you can eat with blue wrens flitting around you.
The wine was good. We’ve been to other wineries in the area that have better wines (at least to our taste) that were less expensive. Also, although tasty, the platter for two did seem a little overpriced. It does definitely showcase the conserves, but the pricing seems a little steep for what is on the platter. Our son did love the beef and Shiraz pie though!
Overall, this place is certainly worth a visit. The location is gorgeous but the food and wine, although good, is not quite on a par with the setting. Perhaps if the platters were a little less pricey, this wouldn’t be an issue...just seems a bit more $ than it should be.
