Really enjoyed seeing this remarkable lighthouse and the surrounding coastline. Very beautiful. Went there for both a sunrise and sunset to enjoy the views.

We did the self guided tour of the grounds which was most interesting and then the guided tour of the lighthouse.
our guide, Sean, was most informative and great to talk with. We climbed to the top stopping half way up and at various levels to learn about the manual operation of the lighthouse through to when it was changed to electric.
It was amazing to walk out onto the outside platform surrounding the top of the lighthouse. I don’t do heights but had no problem at all walking the perimeter of the top or taking photos. The view was spectacular and Sean showed where the two oceans meet.
A great day, well worth doing both.

Wild coast that needed a lighthouse , the grounds and the information spots are well laid out and the commentary is good.
We had nice weather on the day of our visit but I have been before during winter and it is a very wild coast.
Good history and the viewing areas are well laid out with binoculars mounted for free viewing.
The cafe does good food & drinks for a reasonable price.
Well worth a visit

The views were fantastic. Have to pay entry which isn't much and totally understandable. You do get a self guided tour and learn a lot about the history of the lighthouse. Nice little cafe too on the way out. Definately recommend if your in the area!
