We have just reluctantly arrived home from the most amazing weekend at Lavender Cottage. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely owner Karen who made us feel extremely welcome. We were shown to our room and we couldn't believe how beautiful it was. The room came complete with the most comfy and romantic 4 poster bed EVER and the views from our room was stunning.
Karen obviously goes the extra mile to make guest feel special as we had two yummy pieces of homemade Banana cake left in the room along with fresh milk and fresh bottled water in the mini fridge. The room was spotless and had lovely fresh fluffy towels in our un-suit along with complementary toiletries. Both myself and my husband have dietary requirements which Karen catered for brilliantly at breakfast time. Breakfast was great with a full English, toast, tea/coffee, cereal, fresh fruit and Orange juice all available and included in the price. The breakfast room had views over looking the peaceful grounds. The house itself is unbelievably beautiful inside and out and has a wonderful luxurious feel. This definitely isn't your average B&B!
We felt totally spoilt at Lavender Cottage and wish we could have stayed longer. 100% recommend especially for a chilled and peaceful escape. We can't wait to go back. Thank you so much for having us x

We have just returned from a fabulous two night stay at Lavender Cottages. From the moment we arrived Karen made us feel so welcome, offering us interesting and valuable information of the surrounding area which all helped to make my wife's birthday so enjoyable.

A wonderful breakfast is available every morning, rooms can be described as 'quirky' and are spotless.

The cottage is in a secluded position not far off the main road and as mentioned by previous guests only a short drive to the park and ride.

Thanks again Karen but there was thing I did not like - leaving!

Stayed here for 2 nights over a long weekend. It was easy to find using satnav and is located in a tiny quiet village, very picturesque place. It is a short drive from Bath but even better a 2 min drive to the Park & Ride, which runs every 15 mins and is very cheap. The b&b itself is fantastic, very nicely furnished and situated in stunning gardens full of interesting flowers and trees. The views from the garden and the rooms was beautiful and we found it very relaxing. At night there is dead silence so had a few great nights sleep. Karen was very friendly and welcoming and was always available to offer help and tips for seeing the surrounds, She also makes a great cooked breakfast. If you want to leave the car behind then there is a bus stop ten mins walk up the road with frequent buses into Bath too. After spending a few years away in Australia, this is exactly the kind of English getaway I was trying to find. perfect!

We stayed here last weekend for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the location of the B&B very picturesque - just a short drive from the Park and Ride into the center of Bath. Karen was a lovely host, and cooked an amazing full English breakfast. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Karen was a fantastic host and went out of her way several times to drive my girlfriend and I to the local park and ride (as we didn't drive). The room was beautifully prepared accompanied by a lovely view of the surrounding gardens and church. Breakfast was excellent and set us up brilliantly for the day of sightseeing in Bath. We cannot thank Karen enough for her generosity throughout our stay and would definitely recommend Lavender Cottage to anyone looking for a weekend getaway.

Room Tip: Niamh was a lovely room with great views
