The food was simply amazing, with a large variety of seafoods and other delicacies. Service was outstanding. The room was facing the sea with a breathtaking view on the turqouise blue lagoon of Grand Baie. The personnel was very helpful, always available for a helping hand and the extra mile being done in order to make us feel at home and valued.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the sea are simply outstanding which provide you a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Room was spacious and very clean. The food was of good quality, theme nights at the buffet kept it varied, although its a shame that the menu in the other restaurant doesn't change. All the staff were very friendly and there were lots of activities to choose from. The beach itself is quite small, but the pools are lovely.

We have just returned from a beautiful stay at Le Mauricia. This was our first time at the hotel which we booked via a travel agent. The hotel is well maintained and very spacious. Our superior room was big enough to accommodate our son on a sofa bed and we had the ground room with a small private garden. The All-Inclusive is highly recommended although not everything is “all-inclusive”. We enjoyed eating at the buffet which offers plenty of variations however I would have liked to taste more traditional dishes. We only tasted the local dishes on Friday when they had the Mauritian theme. Breakfast was enjoyed each morning especially with the Chef making tasty omelette which he calls “full-house”. The restaurant Le Nautic offers more of a seafood menu with supplements. We tried the special lobster menu at Rs 2,300/head and were not disappointed. The staff overall is very polite and friendly.
The water sports house offers great activities especially trips to see dolphins and trip to Ilot Gabriel on catamaran.
Evenings are well entertained at the bar with live cabaret and shows.
A huge thank you to the staff at the kids club, the beach volley crew and to all at Le Mauricia who made our stay a memorable one!

Room Tip: Superior ground rooms with private garden facing the beach.

We stayed for a week in February. We were very impressed with the hotel, staff, service and dining. We were on the full-board package, which we highly recommend. Staff were generally helpful and efficient. We stayed in a ground floor garden-facing room and the little court yard was lovely. The room was exactly what we wanted. The food caters for every taste and we enjoyed each meal. Watersports were also a cool addition, which we enjoyed. We will definitely return!

Room Tip: Sea-facing is best!

Altough we only stayed for one night, it was marvellous! Hotel staff friendly and accomodating. Our suite was beautiful with white wood finishing and dark wooden floors that led to your own private deck with splash pool, sun tan area and outdoor shower. The beautiful white bedroom also had its own small patio, perfect for your morning coffee. The coffee machine a big plus, as well as the fact that it had two toilets. The barman...O I wish I remembered his name, was the best service we ever had, he served excellent cocktails and was very entertaining, will definitely visit again.
