My partner (from UK) and I (Mauritian) are one of the few people lucky enough to be in Mauritius during this time of Covid 19... But my partner and his parents has been visiting the Maritim well over a decade.

In the beginning of 2020, the hotel was closed for renovations... so when we had the opportunity to come and view the New changes by spending one night there on the 05th of January 2021, even though the hotel is not fully re-opened, we were so pleased to enter the hotel and find the same fantastic, warm and friendly members of staff that had looked after us in the past years.

The changes are very modern but still keeping the heart of the wonderful hotel with such amazing views.

The resident management (Antje) gave us room 212 to try (being one of the newly renovated rooms)... WOW!!!! Could not fault anything in room 212.

Overall we highly recommend anyone to book this hotel with these fantastic new upgrades. Make a superb mauritian holiday!

Once again thank you to all the team that looked after us during that stay.

Best spa & whirlpool experience so far! Chef's kiss to the massage therapists. One of the best relaxing experience you would ever feel. Great hospitality and arrangements. Soothing and relaxing place. You just need to be there!

Nice hotel. Helpful staffs and friendly staffs. Nice food. Went on All inclusive basis. Nice pool. Nice spa area. Played Golf there. Nice activities nice room and bed.kids enjoyed a lot there. Kids club

One of the Best places to be! Flawless service and hospitality and Really Good food. Massive thanks to everyone there for making this even more enjoyable!

The environment is magical! Very peaceful and classy! The Distillery is mesmerizing!

In 2015, i came to your hotel. I was on an all inclusive package. i went to the bar 10mins before closure (18.20) and the barman looked at me from head to toe. It was in a really rude manner and refused to serve me a simple sandwich. When i complained nothing was done due to "lack of proof". I was a joke!
Today im searching for a spa (a local one) because i support local #mypeople. I invest in mauritian people and support mauritian resources. im a firm believer of that concept. I encourage people around me to invest in our hotels and our people; its my new tagline. I saved and in hard times i want to invest to save other people's job.
But concerning Maritim im still perplex.
The worse part i have PCOS and take insulin. So i need food not to fall apart! Unforgettable and sad!
I just wanted to get that out of my system after 5 years and revoice out a traumatic experience.

Thank you for supporting the local businesses and for sharing your experience on this platform, although we do not understand why you choose to inform us of this situation after five years.

We are appalled to read about your experience as we do not condone such behaviors from our staff, whose core responsibility is to serve and core duty is to assist any guest, especially guests with special dietary requirements. It has been our forte since the last 29 years of operations in the hospitality industry, to take special care of our guests with dietary requirements, both for their safety and for their enjoyment.

All guests, irrespective of the meal plan booked, have access to the main restaurant as from 18h30 and to the room service in their room on a 24 hours basis. Depending on their package, they may also consume food items provided in the minibar, which is refilled on a daily basis.

We do hope that you shall give us the opportunity to serve you and to assist you in turning your MARITIM memories into a more relaxing and enjoyable one.
