I have always been pleased with how wonderful the staff at this hotel is. Other hotels could take a lesson from these special people. I wish I could say the same about the quality of the food at breakfast...which was pretty poor. Go to Pete's legacy diner instead.

We often travel to the area to visit family and this is our favorite place to stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had a king bed, large sitting area and extra sink area outside the bath with make up mirror. Nice touches include Paul Mitchell products, coffee makers and a refrigerator. Coffee in the lobby was welcome as the weather was very cold. Will definitely continue to stay when we are in the area.

. The hotel is convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Room Tip: Choose an upper floor for quiet and a view.

A very nice, clean hotel with lovely, helpful staff. The staff were very welcoming, beyond the call of duty ,especially Catherine at reception, who warmly welcomed us and assisted us with our many questions and needs. The pool was small, not really big enough for a proper swim, but the jacuzzi was great. The room was very nice and although it is true that the hotel is located on a busy street, we were not disturbed by the sound of the traffic. The room was reasonably priced for what you get. All in all it was a very nice, relaxing experience. We will most definitely stay there again should we visit that area of the US in the future.

It is what it is...the Hampton Inn of the the Marriott line. Nothing was awful, nothing was great.

Desk staff was 50%, one was grumpy (read: didn't care about/ask/refer to status, didn't ask why we were in town or offer help/suggestions,) and one was super nice and over the top perky.

The AC ran on and off all night, which wasn't awesome but also not terrible, and as someone who gets free breakfast at EVERY other Marriott brand it's still weird Courtyard does not offer this. But again, that's more a systemic problem and not a problem with this particular location.

Layout of the room was confusing and seemed to be thrown together. Two sinks, was an interesting choice when the bathroom is tiny....

Just confirmed that Courtyards just aren't that good. Sure, stay there for business, but not for pleasure.

Room Tip: apparently they have King Suites...try to get upgraded

The Binghamton, NY area is not exactly known for its luxurious accommodations. So, with that in consideration, I can say the Marriott Courtyard in Vestal has been my best experience in the area so far. I travel to the region often and have been happiest at the Courtyard.

The hotel is ready for an upgrade and I hear anecdotally that's coming next fall. This makes me happy as the upgrades to Courtyards across the country are very accommodating to the business traveler.

The staff here is outstanding, very friendly, very welcoming. Once the place is spruced up, it will be a great stay. My only complaint is the terrible wireless internet service. It's slow and spotty.

Room Tip: Bring backup internet. The WiFi is terrible.
