Service was a bit slow, but there was a large party going on upstairs. This made it quite noises also, but the place is really nice.
Our group of 5 all loved the Dublin Dippers appetizers! No one had anything bad to say about their meal and everyone was quite satisfied. Meals were priced reasonably also!
Yes we will return here on our next trip into Utica.

We just wanted to visit with friends over dinner, and catch up on lives. The place wasn't full by any means, but you couldn't escape the level noise, even sitting upstairs. Only 4 of us, sitting across from one another, and we couldn't hear them - we had to yell. The food was merely average, and less-than-satisfying. I got their buffalo shrimp, and when it arrived, the tails were cold. One of our friends got a sandwich (Reuben maybe?) and only at half. Doubt we would return.

We came in at 6:55 on a Saturday night and it took our waitress 20 minutes to even get our drink order and bring menus. She came back 10 minutes later because she forgot our drink order and needed us to tell her again. She also took our appetizer and food order. After another 15 minutes we finally got our drinks (club soda and a beer- not complicated) after waiting almost an hour since our arrival, we finally got our appetizer and then a few minutes later our meals. My burger, which I ordered with no cheese or bun due to dietary restrictions, came with cheese. It returned with the cheese scraped off (in a short amount of time, guaranteeing that it wasn't refired) and remnants of the cheese still on it. The waitress said she couldn't control what the cooks did. Great job there! The bright spot was the man who appeared to be the manager - he took the burger off the check when the kitchen got it wrong...and when I told him what the kitchen did and showed him the evidence, he was furious.

Also, the outdoor bar decided that with all the tables outside filled, they should dump all the water they have ever had out so that patrons had to hope their feet didn't get wet.

Will not be returning. You should really call John Taffer and get Bar Rescue in there ASAP

We went there yesterday, St. Patrick's Day, to celebrate at an Irish pub. we have been there many times before and the service was never great but yesterday was so bad we will probably never go again. We got there just after 11 am and there were only 3 other customers there at one table. We sat and after a short time the waitress came over and took our drink order- she didn't smile, she was not friendly at all but she did come over in a reasonable time and brought the drinks right away. When she brought them, she asked if we had decided on our lunch order. We said we had not yet and she rolled her eyes and went to wait on a table of 4 that had just entered. At that point my wife said we should leave because of the rudeness of the server- but we wanted an Irish lunch after all. She eventually came back after about 10 minutes- it is not uncommon to be punished in any restaurant if you are not ready when the server asks you for your order, but anyway, we ordered an appetizer and a Reuben to split. It was about 11:20 and now there were 4 tables full and some bar patrons. In about 15 minutes, our waitress came out of the kitchen with the appetizer we had ordered, looked around, went to the bar tender and then took it to the table of 4 that had come in after we did. She stood there talking to them and then put the plate down. We thought maybe they had ordered the same appetizer while we were waiting. Soon after that- within minutes, they received their lunches and we waited. at about 11:45, our waitress brought us plates for our appetizer and said it would be our shortly. About 15 more minutes we waited and the table for 4 finished their lunches and our waitress came out of the kitchen again with our appetizer- or so we thought. The bar maid came over to her and took the plate and gave it to 2 people sitting at the bar that gotten there way after us, at least 30-40 and we still had no food. It was now just before noon- almost an hour after arriving. People who got there after us had their full lunch and had left, people who had ordered the same food long, long after us had gotten theirs and I called the waitress over and asked for the check for the drinks. She asked if we wanted our food wrapped- which would have been laughable if we actually had food to wrap- but we said no and went home. So disappointing to look forward to and plan a special day and have this experience instead.

The chicken sandwich was kinda of dry and such a thin piece of chicken. The burger was a better choice. How did the burger get twice the amount of fries than the chicken sandwich???
