I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Potsdam, NY, with my family of 4, while visiting our grandmother. We had an excellent experience. I was particularly impressed with how clean everything was—from the lobby to the rooms. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

i lost power in my room and told the front desk the next morning they did that they could move me into a new room for the next day while i was at work when i got back from work at 6:30 pm they forgot to move my room and they completely sold out the hotel i had to pack up my stuff and go to a different hotel so i wouldn’t have to take a shower in the dark i have a video of my room number and the lights not working sadly i can’t put it on here because i can only upload pictures
My family was up for graduation this past weekend and stayed at this Potsdam Hampton Inn. The hotel was nice, clean and the staff was great. We didn't have any problems and all got a good nights sleep, which we needed to stay awake through the graduation ceremony. I'm writing this review because the hotel was clean, everything worked and was newer and the staff couldn't be nicer. If you're up in the area and need to stay overnight, stay at the Hampton, you'll be glad you did!
We have been staying here for the last four years when visiting my daughter at Crane. Outstanding service. The staff is always friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast staff always has a smile. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Perfect location for all college visits. Breakfast included. Area in back with a fire pit to hang out on nice nights. Highly recommend!

Nice staff, totally adequate in every way. Roomier queen/queen room than usual. Our room had literally no view outside. It faced the back of the HAMPTION INN sign, which made me feel claustrophobic. But I'm sure most other rooms don't have that problem.
I noticed that the EV charger was not working, but there was a sign on the front desk explaining the problem and apologizing. So I think it will soon work again!

The room type that you had has only one room like that. Its a handicap accessible room that has two beds and a tub with a fold down seat.
I'll agree that the view is the worst and sorry for that. The design of the building created that unfortunate situation.
