One lady at service desk did an amazing job but the rest of the experience was horrible. Will not fly with them again.

I had the worst experience today with JetBlue customer service. My husband and I booked a round trip flight from Boston to Orlando with points and we leave tomorrow. I wanted to change our flight to earlier in the day if possible so I went on the app and tried to change it. It wasn't letting me so I tried the website. Still had issues so I called them. I spoke to a lady who told me I had to cancel my flight and rebook it to change it. So, I felt weird about it and was worried but I did what she said and cancelled it. I then went in to rebook and the prices were double what we paid originally. She didn't say anything to me about having to pay a different price. Keep in mind, they had changed my itinerary at one point so I thought I could change it without a fee too. It was now going to cost all my points plus $600 for this trip. I got back on the phone with JetBlue. They told me there was nothing they could do. They weren't able to undo my cancellation or help me with getting reasonable rates. I asked to speak to a supervisor and spoke to a guy. He said the same thing. They said there was nothing they could do. I feel stupid for cancelling the flight but it's what they told me to do. Bottom line is JetBlue customer service is not helpful. It doesn't seem like they care about their customers and we will no longer be flying them. I will also be cancelling my JetBlue credit card.
A certain male crew member who was distributing snacks to customers on board the aircraft tried to play scrooge with me....handed me one small packet of plantain chips to eat. Imagine my surprise an old man of over 65 years to be filled with only a small packet of chips
I was going to say to the crew member," I am a big kid now, I need 2 packets I decided otherwise. Any how the expression on my face made him give me 2 packets. I believe he is from GHANA OR NIGERIA WHERE FOOD IS SCARCE. Please we are living in America. This person nearly caused me to have a bad impression of JET BLUE. Luckily, I always travel with Jet Blue.Thanks
The last time I flew anywhere, which was way back in May of 2016, it was with South West. For my most recent flight earlier this month (December 2024), I decided to go with JetBlue as they had the best offer for what I was looking for.
My experience was really good overall! The process of purchasing tickets, picking seats on the plane, etc was pretty smooth. Having the tablet mounted on the back of the seat in front of me to pick from movies, live tv, and other things watch during the flight was a nice touch! Kind of wish it wasn't an upcharge for earbuds to use (forgot to buy/bring my own before the flight) but I get it lol. Free Wifi is definitely nice! Had decent leg room for economy. Seat on the plane was comfortable for the most part (my flights to my destination, and back home later in the week were both just under 3 hours).
Airline staff (both at the gate, and on the plane) were friendly and helpful! The next time I fly, I will strongly consider picking JetBlue again!
I will never travel with JetBlue again. Flight arrived almost 3 hours late and was broken. They had us board the plane and deplane twice before calling it quits. The next day, the flight didn't leave until almost 1 PM. I ended up taking a different flight from a better airline. Icing on the cake- they won't refund my ticket. Never again.
