Had a lovely few days at the villas. The facilities are five star, with very well kitted out rooms overlooking the river. The hotel reception, dining room etc are cleverly modern, whilst traditional.

The view across river onto the island area is pleasant, whilst not necessarily spectacular, the river is however impressive. Certainly, cruising down the river is a delight especially in the morning.

To do the game drives you need to use the boat across to Kasane (Botswana side), minimal customs issues. Drives well organized in the Chobe National Park, depending on the season will determine the quality of viewing. In December we had had rains, but river not in flood, one day saw few elephants, next day nearly 300 in total. Plenty of hippos, crocs and a fabulous selection of birdlife.

Kasane has a new out of 5he box airport which is first class, low traffic volumes so very easy and quick to get in and out.

Staff very willing and as usual great attitude. Gareth the chef produces top class meals.

Enjoy...

What makes this lodge so special is its staff. Being a small lodge of 17 villas, so attention to customer services is priority. The lodge is beautifully decorated. The manager, Ephram, makes sure your every whim is taken care of. Josaphine, our waitress was such a pleasure at meal times, and, Felix our man for everything, had our backs. We will definitely do this again and make it a longer stay, as 3 days is just not enough

We recently had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights. This is one of the most beautiful resorts in one of the most magical locations we've ever seen. The resort, the rooms, the staff, the food...everything was absolutely spectacular! It's hard to believe that such a modern, state-of-the-art facility is located in such a remote area. There is nothing that this place doesn't offer. The rooms are beautiful and the view from the bed and deck is across the river to Botswana where you can see elephants, buffalo and other wildlife. The staff couldn't be more delightful and helpful. And, the chef prepares meals that would rival any fine restaurant anywhere. We loved this spot and can't say enough good things about it.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms are a bit of a walk from the main area.

We were a little concerned about the type of accommodations to expect and were so pleasantly surprised. This is definitely a 5 star hotel! Loved the comfy villas, the infinity pool at the edge of the river, the relaxing open air lounge. A gem in the middle of Africa!

These villas didn't look 5 star from the river but never judge a book by its cover as they say.A very warm friendly welcome by staff playing the local drums and singing. This place is modern but not as to take it away from the natural surroundings. The villas are right on the Chobe river, with your own private deck. The rooms are truly beautiful and so comfortable.Beautiful big bath, seperate toilet and shower too.You lookout over the river and island to see Hippos, elephants, crocodiles etc.The bird life is amazing as well. The bar fridge and nibbles is stocked well daily included in your stay. The restaurant is wonderful as are the wines, beers and spirits.Great swimming pool. Many tours to do from here as well.
