Beautiful structure and surroundings. Fascinating history. I lucked out and had a personal guide (Leticia!) that was knowledgeable, spoke english very well and was very accommodating. You can take the #65 bus to the site; a nice ride through a variety of neighborhoods.

If you have some extra time then take taxi to El Cerito. After nice walk you come to small, well preserved pyramid. It is nice and peaceful place. Don't forget your sunblock and cap.

make sure you go there, since it is a one-of-a-kind place: a Toltec site with a pyramid that has a house on top. You don't need a lot of time, and it is a very interesting site to visit, not only if you're an archaeology enthusiast, but if you want to see a particular mix of cultures.
