This is an old hotel in Subic so don't expect something modern and nice. It's just right for sleeping and be out of the hotel the whole day exploring Subic. No amenities and free coffee and tea like in other hotels. No free breakfast but you can eat at the ground floor for a fee or in the nearby convenient store. Pool is ok and maintained by a lifeguard on duty. It's actually closed every Monday for maintenance.

Don't expect too much. You get what you paid for. No free breakfast. No wifi. It's a worn out hotel.

Standard room is spacious and has a TV, a/c, sofa and hot shower. The refs not working.

Amenities: They have a swimming pool though, so if you have kids, that will keep them busy. They have a computer shop at the lobby.

Staffs are friendly and accommodating.

We had an opportunity to visit Subic this weekend, and we decided this time to stay at Crown Peak (Subic). The hotel wears the cloak of an ex US defence establishment - and the rooms are big, but the furniture is a bit worn down. Also it was hardly occupied and hence gives a feeling of being desolate. Food and transport was an issue, since this palce is located pretty far from the SBMA area and takes a good 350 pesos by taxi to reach - so if you don't have a car / your own transport, expect to pay a ransom. Tt is worse when trying to get a taxi - you have to call for one, and wait about 30 mintues! Even if you are going to Zoobic safari or ocean adventure, they charge high.

There are no restaurants here - just one small place for breakfast, and a shop which sells lunch.

On the whole, this is a good place to relax - and is pretty low budget (our room cost us jsut 1500 pesos and came with a big sink, bed, limited cable tv and a view of a big garden with an old US air force plane - probably used during the Vietnam war)

The hotel has a small coffee shop on the ground floor, next tot he reception, which is the only place with wifi.
