Pleasant stay in Segara Suites :) We were pleased with how exclusive and serene the hotel was tucked at the very end of Waterfront Ave. Although the "welcome drinks" had apparently been faced out 2 years ago and a promise to send additional complimentary water bottles to compensate for it didn't happen, all else went well. The Superior Room was spacious and well appointed. Didn't see the "exclusive patio" though (which was indicated in the website), unless it only applies to ground level rooms. Pool was just the right size for my 4 year old. Highly recommended for family bondings!

Segara suites were a last minute booking for us as our regular hotel was fully booked. We appreciate the clean and beautifully themed rooms. We were unable to try their pool due to time constraints but it looked so inviting. The set breakfast was ample enough to start your day.

Good value for money amongst several choices in Subic. Room quality was quite good for the price, beds were comfortable and bathroom was spacious, clean and adequate. Well maintained and attentive staff.

Ive previously stayed at the adjoining hotel resort which is Segara Villas however i wanted to try a more economic alternative. The Segara Suites is an 18 room boutique with excellent service and rooms. I have stayed at at least 6-8 hotels in Subic. And have stayed in Subic to go biking or drive through its lush forests and its winding roads that goes on and on. Subic does offer many attractions. Its so unlike Manila. Anyhow what I love about Segara Suites or Villas is its wonderful landscaping and its Thai Buddhist motif. I do meditate and find this hotel most enchanting and quiet, which is perfect for my serenity. The grounds itself is just right sized with many Buddha statues or buddha heads and the grounds is definitely thai ispired with many thai buddhist motifs. It is never noisy or chaotic here as the property is nestled in a remote corner of Beachfront Drive. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. And the food there is rather good which i would rate a 3 1/2 out of 5, as I do eat there mainly for breakfast which comes with the room. Subic is a foodie paradise with all kinds of food. This hotel is definitely one of Subic's jewels. It is very serene. And one could just lounge around the generously sized pool. I would definitely come back to this hotel as at this point i do consider if not the best hotel among the many hotels i have stayed at Subic. .

Its located at the end of Waterfront Road in Subic, almost right in front of where massive US Navy ships once docked. Down this same road are the rows of bars and restaurants to fill up that never-full stomach. Also nearby are duty-free shops for your never-full wallet. And right here, in this spot, is a cozy, relaxing place.

Check-in was quick. The staff was really friendly and helpful. And you’re off to a good staycation.

The rooms are very spacious, as with the bathroom. We're a family of four (including 2 kids) and we fit nicely. You can hear the occasional hum of the vacuum cleaner put to use in nearby rooms, but otherwise sleep quality is good.

In-room wifi is good, too. There appear to be routers at every other room. Choose one nearest yours. The bathroom has basic toiletries and sundries. The shower water occasionally swings to a tad bit too hot.

Theres a nice pool within, between the Suites and the villas, again set in a cozy layout that’s sure to provide relaxation. But it looks like it will be needing a refresh soon, along with the hotel grounds.

Free breakfast is your typical outside-Metro Manila fare: a choice between Filipino set (beef tapa/dried fish/longanisa, rice, eggs), American set or Continental set. A good-spread buffet would have been really nice.

This is a nice place. We’re glad to have stayed here and experienced the place. If they program regular renovations/refresh this hotel will have loyal customers.
