Seorabeol Grand Leisure Hotel
Reviewed January 27, 2015

Stayed for one night with family of 8 of us. Family room plus a king bed room.

Whilst I have stayed at luxery hotels before and this is not in that class what this is is a well managed clean and friendly hotel.

The staff from the car park security, cleaners, reception are all helpful happy and friendly making it a pleasure to stay. Whilst the rooms are basic they are clean, no faults on them and in good condition. The pool is great and well managed

Breakfast was not to my liking as there was not much for my taste, but all the rest of my family loved it.

Yes would definatly stay again, the only thing I did not like ... I am sure that was powdered scrambled egg ... come on its easier to do fresh !

RATES: the cost of the room we picked is relatively cheap, around php2300 per night. You can even ask for a discount from front desk, and be pleasantly surprised that they are empowered to carve abt 10% off the original rate.
ROOM: although the room looks dated, what we liked it it's clean, smelled fresh and the 32 inch flat screen tv which is not common in budget hotels in the area. Room is also spacious.
AMENITIES: wifi is very fast in our room, even in the lobby
FACILITIES: no elevator which can be a problem if you have heavy luggages, kids or senior citizens with you. Pool area in nice enough and never seem to be crowded. They have a parking space that an fit only about 10 cars though, so if the hotel gets busy, you have to park out in the street
FOOD: perhaps this is the downside to this hotel. Food is really bad. The free breakfast that goes with your accommodation is free for a reason. The meat they serve is tough and bland, even the coffee was very watery.
STAFF&CREW: warm and friendly

Over-all , good value for money considering the reasonable rate and spacious , clean rooms.

We stayed at Seorabeol right after Christmas 2014. The reservation process was handled very professionally by Anne - who is very helpful.

The location of this hotel is ideal. A lot of eateries are within walking distance of the establishment. The pool was large and had a large shallow area for kids. The guest parking area is secure abd provides ample protection from the sun.

The rooms, however, have very thin walls. We could hear everyone passing by our room! The hotel's restaurant did their best to provide a good buffet breakfast AND not much else. There are no ala carte options for breakfast. Although the rates for kids are relatively low, it can be pricey for parents of children with small appetites.

Bottomline: there are better hotel options in the area. You just have to look hard enough to find them.

Stayed in this hotel for new year's eve. I was disappointed because when I made the reservation through phone, their reservation officer assured me that the hotel is situated right in front of the beach, along subic park hotel, buma and the light house. My mistake was I believed the reservation officer and got disappointed upon learning its actual location. Upon arrival, their receiving officer at the lobby wasn't courteous when I raised my concerns and even argued with me. Coming all the way from Quezon City, it was a very tiring experience if you can imagine. The food was also terrible, they served these hard sliced up sausages marinated in ketchup, every inch of their food was screaming leftover. In addition to that they were not attentive in refilling the food offered in their buffet, took them at least 30 mins to serve bread again. I'm not going back
