We've stayed here for a few days a week or so ago and we have stayed here many times over the years. It's been recently renovated and it definitely shows it. It's really changed for the better over the past couple years. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are modern, clean and spacious and the rates are not too bad either. We'll definitely be staying here often as we visit the area again in the future.
This is our second stay at this hotel. First time was OK, and they were renovating. This time it is under the Holiday Inn Express management group, and the renovations are done inside, and well underway outside. We give it an excellent rating. Everyone was welcoming, every thing was clean and new - room, lobby, hallways, elevator, etc. rooms are spacious, and breakfast had many choices and was very good, very quiet and no renovation odors. We will stay here on our next trip to Canton, and can recommend it without hesitation.
This is now a Holiday Inn Express. I've stayed a few times over the last few months and only gotten a renovated room. They are very modern, clean and good-sized. Nice hot shower, good water pressure and brand new beds/linens. The pool is still closed & under renovation. The parking lot does need work, but Im glad they focused on rooms and the interior first!
It appears construction is still going on. Hotel was booked solid for the Clarkson Accepted Student weekend, but there maybe 40 cars in the parking lot. Our room was recently renovated standard with two queens. Clean comfortable room.
The Included breakfast was good. No problems during our stay.
