My wife and I stayed at this hotel during our trip to Canton to visit our daughter.

This hotel met all of our expectations and exceeded most of our expectations. The check in was quick and efficient. We were in our room within 10 minutes of checking into the hotel. The rooms were clean and larger than we expected. The bathrooms were very nice. The bathroom door is a standard door, which is uncommon in newer hotels since most are designed with the barn door style or a glass door. Each room has a refrigerator and a microwave in them. The hotel was very quiet and the beds were comfortable, so we slept well.

The fitness center was very good. All of the machines were in working order. The added benefit here is that the elliptical machines have a large selection of TV channels to watch while working out, so there is no temptation to cut your workout short. There is a large selection of free weights too.

The breakfast / lobby area is very nice and well maintained. There is an outside dining area with a nice gas firepit.

As with all Fairfield Inns, the breakfast is marginal. This is nothing against this specific hotel, but that is true at all Fairfields.

The manager, Allison, is very nice and responsive.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area.

We stayed over the July 28th-July 29th 2022. We had 1 room for 5 people. The room was very nice and had lots of space. The pool while it was small it is still nice and did the job. The breakfast was also nice each morning. We had stayed in Canton as it was cheaper than staying in Alexandria Bay. We took a day trip to Alexandria Bay to go to Boldt Castle as well as do some shopping. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We only had 4 towels in the room but after going swimming we asked the front desk for an extra towel and they gladly gave one to us.

Quite a decent place to stay overnight. Did not try the breakfast as it ended already at 10.00. Good with parking spaces and proximity to restaurants and fast food chains. Short way to the university area. Large rooms with easy climate management. Slightly poor cleaning and soap, shampoo and conditioner smelled old.
