Really located on Hwy 14 N between Madrid and Santa Fe. There is a feed store in back with a variety of birds from chickens to peacocks but the cafe is an old adobe house. They have the typical NM breakfast and lunch items but I recommend the San Marcos breakfast or whatever is on special.

This place is a gem. We ordered the cinnamon roll and French toast. My French toast was the best I've had in a long time. Crunchy, moist and delicious. My husband found the cinnamon roll to be scrumptious. Quiant and charming with a local personal touch. This is a must do if you come to Santa Fe. Very easy to find and you get a pleasant view of the mountains on your way there.

Try the Feed Store Burrito with tons of green chili! This country restaurant comes with charm and great food. It's south of Santa Fe on Turquoise Trail and part of a pretty drive.

We took a group from out of state for breakfast. One had a huge pork chop and eggs. Another had the machaca burrito. I had the blt with egg! We also had their famous cinnamon rolls. Everything we ordered was delicous. Cindy was our waitress

The best breakfast and lunch spot for many miles. A flock of peacocks roam freely outside the door. The staff and owner are very personable and efficient. The food is all great. Lots of wonderful chilli dishes, fresh hot cinnamon buns, great home-made soups, and try the cheese blintzes with strawberry sauce for something different. We go regularly and take all of our visiting guests there, and no one has ever been disappointed.
