Since my husband and i are new to the place and we wanted to kill some time, we looked for a resto or fastfood that is locally well known. we wanted to visit crab and belly that night but it was a bit far from we were located, plus we saw the terrible traffic. we passed by wimpy's and the smoke from their open kitchen somewhat invited our senses. the lady gave us the menu and the prices were really jaw-dropping...double burger with fries was Php136.00 and beef mami was Php90.00...in my mind i was really like "this better be good"
Beef mami arrived and i was like "where's the beef" and for photography's sake, i literally pulled out the minced beef and made it look like a big chunk floating on the soup (forced photography 😂) ... the patty on the burger was half the bun...you can see it on the picture...the taste was nothing more like ordinary to me...
i hate to disappoint people who, especially, value the history of the resto...it's just my personal review...
I ordered their Grilled Porkchop. Sumptuous. I also tried the Halo-Halo. It was good as well. The door to the Rest Room. The door to the Rest Room should have been painted. But I was surprised that the Rest Room is Clean. Could have been better. Overall, it was good.
good food for good price.
if you are on a budget, this place is ideal for you.
try their grilled chops or chicken and you'll fill up nice.
If you are sick of your stock standard fast food franchise then give this place a go. It has a good selection of Pinoy and Western style food, bakery and an ice-cream bar. Their lumpiang Shanghai is highly recommended, we ended up polishing two lots in quick succession. The food itself is very good and it is good value for money. The thing about supporting a local business is at least you know you are in a different place...so if you are in Olongapo, give it a go.
