Chef Dan from Milan explained to us that the lasagna is done the way they did it “40-50 years ago in Milan”.

It’s true, the entire experience is so authentic that you feel like you are really having real Italian Food in Italy back in the day when everything was natural and from the nearby farms.

Don’t miss this if you want a fine dining five star experience in humble Angeles City.

Fine dining hidden away in the back streets of Angeles City. I found this restaurant in TripAdvisor and took a tricycle to find it. Fine dining is not something that I associate with Angeles City!

The ambience is out of keeping with location but offers a wonderful setting for dinner. The ceiling is composed of several canvasses depicting Greek or Roman scenes. The walls are just as elegantly decorated and to see is to believe here!!

Food is as impressive as the decor. Foir gras to start with - cooked to perfection in an orange sauce. I settled for lasagne which was clearly handmade - delicate and flavoursome! The dessert was impressively decorative. Pana cotta - with sause and fruit.

I can not believe I found such a sophisticated and elegant restaurant in Angeles City. Truly impressed - this must be the best in Angeles. Worth going out of your way to find it!!! Dinner only - closed lunchtime.

The place was very elegant. Food was so great and one of a kind which offer distinctive variety of Italian dishes that are prepared by transformation and combination of different ingredients. This Italian restaurant offer the best degustation menus in AC that enable you to experience the feel of being in Italy while living in the city of Angeles. If you want to relish an amazing Italian meal, then you must make a visit in Piccolo Padre.

Located in a newish hotel. Decoration is crowded, lacks restraint nor elegance. Staff is this place's greatest asset. Food, lamb ribs in my case seems OK. Presentation is functional. Wine list is short but has range. Americans made up almost all clientele night I was there but waitress said day before was a large group of Chinese. May well be Angeles's best but not fine dinning. Sort of like diner fine dining.

Upon reading positive reviews of Piccolo Padre I was looking forward to enjoying a Saturday night out with a great meal.
Firstly I must state that the service was truly excellent and that raised the evening to an acceptable level that the food couldn't quite reach.
The Chianti was ok, the beer was fine and the bread was very good.
I had a selection of starters with my fellow diners and we had two tuna dishes and a baked scallops platter. These starters were decent. The main course of veal tendelion and polenta with gorgozola was mediocre, as was the squid ink risotto with scallops. The Chilean seabass was well received but rather tasteless.
Overall I felt it was average.
