Excellent Location,close to everything
Staff are Friendly,elevator on site,Excellent eatery on site,sit inside or outside
we spent 2 nights there,our 1st night in room 103 the air conditioning Not working too good NO one there in evening to service it.
Next day moved to 102 AC worked fine
They offer some discounts on the different rooms

The rooms were not clean, I turned on the ceiling fan and a thick cloud of dust spread all over the room. Under the bad were dirty toilet paper. The closet probably have not been cleaned for months. The staff used to be very good, but this time they acted unqualified. We couldn't even get a standard confirmation for our bookings. Sorry Grand Central, you need to RENOVATE! Also the carpet in the hallways - a vaccumcleaner would be a great idea there. Ohh and the room STANK of cigar smoke!!

Room Tip: Suites with balcony are filthy, check them well before you move in.

When you visit us again, please connect with one of our floor managers (Jhay or Mark), and they will personally see that any and all "issues" are resolved / fixed in a swift manner. We strive to please each one of our guest's and work meticulously to ensure each room, ceiling fan and carpet in the hallways is clean and well maintained. Please be sure to ask for either one of our floor managers (Jhay or Mark), and they will personally, fix any problems that you find do not suit you.

Fancy restaurant with a good dessert menu. But the bathroom is one room shared by the men and women. No toilet paper ever. A water spray nozzle and a shared cloth towel is supposed to be used instead. For an otherwise first class place, the sanitary arrangement is third world.

Hi Tom,

Thank you for taking the time to submit your review, we sincerely appreciate your honest input.

We strive to be on top of every aspect inside our hotel and restaurant; though like most human beings we too overlook a thing here or there.

Yes, it is true that the public bathroom is one room shared by the men and women (similar to how other establishments are set up such as Starbucks -- due to limited spacing).

As for there being no toilet paper. That is an easy fix -- just mention to any of our staff that there is no toilet paper and that "issue" gets resolved quickly. We do have staff that checks to ensure that the toilet paper is well stocked, but depending on the amount of guests using the bathroom no matter how fully stocked can run low or out (even in the best of establishments can and do run low or out from time to time).

Bottom line:
No excuses from us, here at 'Grand Central Hotel' in Angeles City -- Fact is, we want your feedback so, we can properly address and then solve any / all mistakes.

Update:
As of June 2017 we have removed the cloth towel and now have a nice, electric hand dryer (thank you for your keen insight). Please visit us again, and allow us to meet your expectations.

Went here twice with friends for food and drink...

The actual food and drink was a 4 out of 5 , and I wouldn't criticize it....BUT....

Service was very very slow, with disinterested staff who completely ignore the table buzzer system, and took nearly 30 minutes to come back with bill change when paying...

Both experiences were poor..which was surprising.

If you are in no hurry, and can chill out to bad service, the food is fine, but I would rather eat in many other places , and won't eat here, or stay here, based on my experiences ...

First of all, we want to sincerely thank you for visiting the Grand Central Hotel restaurant (Central Café).

Yes, the service may have been slower than what you are familiar with inside other establishments, want or needed, we make no excuses -- if we are at fault. If there are slower than usual wait times, we apologize for that.

An easy "remedy" (to slow wait times) is to merely stop a server and ask to speak with the manager and or alert any of the other staff that it seems things are moving at a slow pace, and they may be able to bring clarity to you regarding the matter at hand.

If any of the staff appear disinterested, then the same applies as above, please ask to speak with a manager about this "issue". To know what the term "disinterested" within this context means would help clarify things a bit more -- were they disinterested in stories you and other guests were sharing, disinterested in sitting to talk with you and the other guests, disinterested in taking the food and beverage orders, et cetra?

Knowing what you mean by disinterested will allow us to quickly and appropriately reply to this "issue".

Regarding, ......"staff who completely ignore the table buzzer system"...... this could be fact that they "ignored" the buzzer system but most often that is not on purpose (there are various times all the staff are caught up serving many guests at once and so, the buzzer gets lost in the shuffle of all this and for this -- We truly apologize for our oversight.

If 10-15 minutes passes before one gets their change returned to them we would kindly ask that they just ask a server, about their change and that problem is solved fast.

We would like to have you visit us again, please introduce yourself to a manager that you wrote a review online for the Grand Central Hotel restaurant (Central Café), and that you wanted to give the Grand Central restaurant (Central Café) another chance to prove themselves.

I love this hotel. The rooms are fantastic, comfortable beds, nice bathroom and shower, and really big. The decor is also quite nice and I love all the mirrors. My favorite part, however, is the balcony overlooking Fields Ave. Its a great place to hang out with a few drinks before going out for the evening. The staff is also incredible and surprisingly remember me every time I go back, even if it has been about a year or so. Love it.
