“A Great Dining Lounge in Seminyak”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2016

The menu features several delightful cravings. It mainly consists of Asian food and local favorites. I ordered something different from what I've been eating since we came in Indonesia. I had Roast Duck Fried Rice with Pineapple, Cashews and Curry Powder (IDR 115k). The serving was big, which is good enough for two. My friends ordered Spicy Seafood & Coconut Rice Noodle Soup or Laksa Lemak (IDR 115k) and Balinese Crispy Pork Belly Routade with Fern Tip Lawar on the side (IDR 135k).

We also availed R & B. It is an all you can eat ribs and beer. It comes with an all you can eat grilled succulent spare ribs marinated in a secret spice blend served with French fries and honey barbeque sauce and free flow beer (Bali Hai). And that was a great deal! We ended up to be the last customers to leave the restaurant as expected.

“Fabulous menu and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2016 via mobile

This is a great spot to eat. We had breakfast here and the food and service was wonderful. The juices were healthy, varied and fresh and the Bircher muesli was the best I had in Seminyak. It's quite expensive but if you want great variety (pick the a la carte and get the buffet as well) it's well worth it. It also has a great view of the beach.

“Great view, good food, expensive drinks”

Great spot to watch the sunset. Uninterrupted 180 degree views. Really good tapas style share dishes which are quite reasonably priced. Drinks were expensive though.

“Average”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2016 via mobile

Good food, ok service, absolutely awful band playing.

We were here on a slow and extremely rainy night after having travelled for 18hours straight. Bbq starter had a great hoisin sauce, Soft Shell Crab was good, butter chicken was nice, but should be renamed cashew nut chicken. Drinks and beer was good.

Waiter forgot to get my beer once. So I had to re-order it. They did their best though, and were very friendly.

Then there was the band... too loud for what could otherwise have been a nice quiet meal, with focus on the food. And the rest of the staff kept sending them song requests, while the guests cared less... what's the point? The staff can go listen to the band on their own time, if they love it that much. If I could have rated the band, I would have given it a minus 1.

“Will Never Return”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2016

After a bad experience with this restaurant earlier this year, we were offered 25% off our meal as compensation for our less than stellar experience if we would give the establishment a second chance.

We first entered the premises via the elevator which reeked of an unpleasant vomit odor. We were then shown to our table which boasted a spectacular view and sat down, prepared to enjoy a night of my sister's 50th birthday celebrations.

However, things quickly began to take a downward spiral from then on.

After we had perused the menu and ordered our entrees and mains, we were quickly informed that none of them were available, due to the shortage of "quality" pork, and the exciting signature stingray dish (most of their menu items contain pork). As we had wasted a taxi fare and had already ordered expensive drinks, we felt as if we should just go elsewhere. We voiced our concerns to the manager who was very apologetic, and who offered to cover the cost of our drinks, which we appreciated. We moved on to another restaurant that offered everything stated on their menu.

After a lackluster first experience with below average food, and a second experience full of disappointment, we will never return here, despite the clear efforts of the staff.
