We have gone here twice due to our doctor being in the area. beautiful resteraunt , service is great and the food was delicious. We have shared the sea bass and both had the salmon. Really enjoyed, which they would be closer to Colts Neck!

Traditional Greek food is always delicious. The squash soup was terrific but had to be sent back to be heated. The appetizers were large enough to share. The broiled Black Sea bass and bronzino entrees were fabulous. And the baklava and chocolate mousse desserts were perfect but the orange custard was enormous but very bland.

I have visited this restaurant at least a half dozen times. It is pricey but I do consider this to be high end Greek food in a nice and pleasant atmosphere. I have never had a bad meal. The fish is always fresh and delicious, and generally speaking, we dine here because we are looking for a relaxing evening so we are never in a rush for our food. That being said, many times we have experienced slow and inattentive service. Last night was probably the slowest we had ever experienced. We had a 7:45 reservation, and despite our table being open and ready for us, we were not seated until 8:30. We were fine because our party of six was hanging by the bar, even though we kept alerting the hostess that we were ready to be seated. Once seated, we gave our order fairly quickly, and yet our entrees did not arrive till after 10 pm. One of the couples had to leave by 10:30 so they gobbled their dinner down. We were polite in expressing our dissatisfaction, and ultimately our new server (not sure where the original one disappeared to), was apologetic and removed the alcohol charges from our bill. I would still return because there are few restaurants in the area like this one, with the expectation that service is inconsistent. If they up their game on service, I would happily give a higher rating.

I visited Lithos last week for a dinner with close colleagues at work. This was a very cozy place, with formal dining seating. Service was up to the mark and the waiters took pains to explain what they were offering. Wine selection was very good and so was the starters, each starter having a unique taste of its own. I must say that the time to service was fair for a restaurant that offers so much choice in cuisine. Main course was excellent too, with lamb sourced from Australia, very succulent and tasty. In short, a very satisfying experience.

We went for Sunday brunch. The decor and atmosphere were good and the food was also good. However this restaurant is expensive and the service was abysmal. We waited far too long for our entrees and nobody on the staff bothered to recognize that or apologize for it let alone do anything about it. We finally had to ask the hostess where our food was. Thankfully on a Sunday afternoon we were not pressed for time and would think twice before going again.
